Floratech®, a division of Air Innovations®, will participate in the HortiFair Worldwide Horticulture Showcase in Amsterdam, October 13-17, Hall 7, Stand 07.1128. More than 47,000 people from over 100 countries are expected. Floratech will showcase its smallest portable floral cooler, Cool Spot, at the show. Cool Spot’s small foot print makes it an ideal point-of-purchase display in the checkout area and the unit’s patented Always Open® design–which does not require doors to keep flowers fresh– encourages impulse sales, said John Patalita, Floratech division manager. The cooler does not need a drain because condensate is evaporated automatically, making it easy to move to other locations within the store as seasonal products or store traffic demands. “Consider cross merchandising Cool Spot with chocolates and near greeting cards and gifts,” Patalita suggested. Cool Spot, available in 50 and 60 Hz operation, has ETL, CSA and CE safety certifications.
