Air Innovations has announced the addition of a vertical HVAC system – the VPACK Series – to its line of the PACK and SPLIT specialty commercial & residential HVAC systems. PACK and SPLIT specialty HVAC systems are the most versatile specialty cooling systems on the market. The new line of air handlers is intended for low-temperature air conditioning applications where horizontal space is limited or where a vertically oriented air conditioner works best. Applications include wine cellars, computer or server rooms, art storage, grow rooms, wooden instrument or fur storage, long-term food storage rooms, and other niche environments.

The VPACK Specialty HVAC is available in ½-ton and 1-ton cooling capacities and offers all of the features that are unique to the PACK Series, such as remote user interface control, bolt-on humidification and a water-cooled option. With its vertical design and the flexibility of multiple evaporator outlet locations, the VPACK is ideal for installation in narrow spaces where a small footprint is required, such as small mechanical rooms.

“We developed our vertical packaged air conditioning units in direct response to customer requests,” stated Michael Militi, Air Innovations Division Manager. “Our customers have a broad variety of applications to respond to, and the addition of the VPACK cooling system gives them a line of products as diverse as their applications.” All units contain low-ambient controls, heaters for winter operation, high- and low-pressure safety switches, refrigerant site glasses and connection ports for servicing in the field.

Air Innovations’ PACK, VPACK, and SPLIT Series products conform to UL and CSA. All Air Innovations products are designed and manufactured in Syracuse, NY.
