Air Innovations’ involvement in the future of Personal Environment Control Systems (PECS) was highlighted in a recent article by Dr. Edward Bogucz.

The article describes what the future of PECS holds and touches on the role Air Innovations plays in it.

Next-generation PECS could potentially achieve “significant whole-building energy savings by allowing indoor temperatures to vary over a wider range and meeting occupant comfort requirements.”

Air Innovations is part of a group at Syracuse University that was awarded a Delivering Efficient Local Thermal Amenities (DELTA) project by the Department of Energy ARPA-E program. The group has been pursuing PECS research for over a decade.
