AI’s capabilities range from concept development to prototyping, from small runs to mass production. Products are design/built for customers in such industries as: aerospace, military; homeland security; pharmaceutical; medical devices; R&D; and, electronics. The company also develops branded products that include floral coolers used by supermarkets and commercial-grade wine cellar systems for homes, restaurants and institutions. Air Innovations holds numerous patents.

“The Inc. 5000 gives Air Innovations national recognition, confirms our business model, validates the dedication of our employees, and helps in recruiting new personnel for stage two growth,” said President and CEO Michael Wetzel, P.E. “What sets Air Innovations apart from other businesses of its type is that few companies, large or small, can handle the many different and increasingly more challenging environmental process control projects that we take on. We don’t provide ‘commercial-off-the-shelf’ products; instead, we take a value-added approach to client engagements, developing and producing engineering content that meets our partners’ individualized and demanding specifications,” Wetzel explained.

Air Innovations will be honored for the Inc. achievement at an awards ceremony held in Washington, DC on October 2.
