New Case Study on Portable Aerospace Cleanroom Control

Portable Aerospace Cleanroom Control:

Air Innovations – the leader in custom environmental control solutions for temperature, humidity, filtration, and pressure – announced the availability of a new case study describing an aerospace and defense project with precision environmental control needs. This particular project entailed controlling the temperature in which calibration equipment for a tactical ballistic missile defense system operated.

Some of the challenges in this project included system requirements for both portability and a highly controlled environment (cleanroom conditions) to ensure calibration accuracy. This aerospace HVAC system also had to connect directly to the missile defense system during calibration.

Key specifications ranged from cooling, heating, and humidification to HEPA filtration and all necessary controls. To date this is Air Innovations’ largest portable cleanroom control unit (built on wheels and maintains aerospace cleanroom conditions).
